Bomb threat at the Emalahleni City Council

Customers and employees that were at the Emalahleni City Council were evacuated to a place of safety after they received a bomb threat.

The incident happened on Monday, February 8 during the morning once most of the employees were busy with work and customers were paying bills and sorting out accounts.

Law Enforcement and Witbank Police closed off the road around the Emalahleni City Council ensuring the safety of everyone.

The South African Police Force bomb squad arrived on scene and started searching for a bomb while police continued with their own investigation.
