Crack down on chop-shop in Eagle Street

A tracking company in Johannesburg gave information that led police to an illegal chop-shop, car syndicate in Eagle Street, eMalahleni.

On August 23 police came upon a garage full of tools, stolen vehicles, fake registration plates and the car syndicate.

On the scene they found two stolen Ford Ranger bakkies, two Nissan NP200 bakkies, and two other vehicles that were recovered and taken to Witbank Police Station.

Some of the suspects were arrested for further investigation.
