The Serval that was hit by a car two weeks ago is making a recovery and she is getting stronger by the day.
Staff members from Witbank Veterinary Hospital gave her the name Shantine.
Dr Nolan Landman was concerned about her as she was very lethargic after the car had hit her and he was worried about her eye sight.
He then explained that her eye sight could be because of the severe concussion.
As time went by and she started to heal, her eye sight came back and she gained her strength back.
The incident happened on Monday, July 16 in the evening when Mr Stanley White from SACCW Neighbour Watch in Del Judor x4 responded the call of a cat that had been hit by a car near the Duck Pond.
Shantine the Serval is on her way to recovery.
Landman was called to the scene; once he arrived he took the Serval to the hospital where he started examining her.
Landman will be looking for a rehab centre to send her to.
