Vosman police have reported that they are investigating two cases of business robberies.
A 32-year-old victim reported that he was at Kolapeng Pharmacy in Ackerville on Tuesday, September 11 at about 18:30.
The victim was confronted by five suspects who after entering the pharmacy asked for some tablets. They were assisted by the pharmacist and suddenly one of them took out a firearm and ordered him to open the tills.
The pharmacy was robbed of an amount of R2 150 in cash as well as his cell phone; after that they ran out of the pharmacy.
In the second robbery, it was reported that on Friday, September 14 at about 01:00 on the Kromdraai road at the Wakefield Farm, a robbery took place.
A security officer was on duty at the farm together with a colleague when about 20 suspects came to them. The suspects were armed with firearms and were wearing masks to cover their faces.
The suspects ordered them to lay on the ground and they tied their hands at the back. They then asked for office keys and they stole items from the office.
The items that were stolen were a welding machine, a grinder, two drill machines, five truck barriers, front loader keys, a microwave oven, a fridge, eight truck tyres, a wheel spanner and a computer. The value of all items taken was R124 400.
The suspects then left the scene.
No one has been arrested in both cases and police are investigating.
